A new bombshell in the world of electronic chips



Casimir Inc claims to have created a chip called MicroSparc that generates free electricity from the quantum vacuum using the Casimir effect.

The inventor, Harold Sony White, known for NASA's quantum wormhole research and then Qaqa, says the chip doesn't need a battery, light, or mechanical movement, and produces a small direct current.
His company raised $12 million in a seed round and aims to launch the first commercial version in 2028.

The chip size is 5 mm × 5 mm, and the commercial target is approximately 1.5 volts and 25 microamps, meaning about 37.5 microwatts, which is enough for example for IoT sensors, low-power medical devices, and similar...
