Why do some people make 100x, but never explode in half a year?

Some open 5x, and it's gone in three days.
Many people think that liquidation is just bad luck.
Actually, it's not. Liquidation is already doomed from the moment you place the order.
Zhengzong has been doing contracts for 8 years, and only later did he understand that what truly determines whether you live or die is not leverage, but how much money you bet with.
Is 100x scary?
Not scary.
You put in 10k US dollars, and only use 100 US dollars to try; even if you're wrong about the direction, you only lose 100 US dollars.
But if you use 9,000 US dollars to open a 10x position, one pin can wipe you out instantly.
So the most dangerous thing about contracts is never high leverage.
It's high leverage combined with heavy positions and no stop-loss.
Many people lose 5% and don't exit, thinking "It'll come back if I wait a little longer."
But waiting and waiting, small losses turn into bigger losses, and big losses lead to liquidation.
I now set a strict rule for myself: a maximum loss of 2% of total funds per trade.
Admit when you're wrong; if you admit it, you can keep trading; if you don't, you won't even qualify to get back in next time.
I'm also very bad at taking profits.
Take 20% profit and exit half; take 50% profit and exit half; leave the rest with a trailing stop-loss, letting profits run.
Because those who buy are apprentices, and those who sell are masters.
Zhengzong always says, in trading, in the end, it's not about who has the biggest guts.
It's whether you can follow the rules like a machine.
The most abundant thing in the crypto world is opportunity.
What’s most scarce is the people who can survive to the next round.
