Mars Financial News, May 13 — According to the Federal Reserve’s annual survey, the vast majority of Americans in 2025 still feel concerned about high prices, and anxiety about the job market is also rising. Against the backdrop of nearly stagnant employment growth last year, 42% of adults reported varying degrees of concern about “finding or keeping a job,” up from 37% in 2024. Meanwhile, about nine out of ten respondents expressed concern about rising prices. The survey was conducted in October last year, before the Iran war broke out, but even so, affordability issues were already widespread in 2025 and are expected to become a key issue in the upcoming midterm elections.
