At last month's Paralympics, a decision was made for athletes from Russia and Belarus to compete under their national flags.

This is actually a pretty significant change.
At the Winter Olympics, they participated as AIN (Individual Neutral Athletes), but at the Paralympics, they will compete under their country's symbols.
The New York Times also reported that a total of 20 athletes from Belarus and Russia are participating in this format.
The AIN system means competing as individuals without representing their country officially, but this decision is the complete opposite.
When competing under their national flags, it naturally draws international attention, and discussions about geopolitical implications are unavoidable.
I think there are various perspectives on what it means for national symbols to be prominently displayed in sports.
