Still staring at the alerts at 2 a.m., I happen to scroll past a whole stack of social mining tasks—check-ins, retweets, and racking up points to swap for badges… Basically, it’s just treating your time like liquidity and siphoning it away. The badges look pretty tempting, but a bunch of people, for the sake of their “identity,” authorize their main accounts in a complete mess—then when something goes wrong, they come back asking how to revoke permissions. I honestly want to let out a meow and be done with it.

Recently, there’s also been a lot of noise around that “yield stacking” setup with re-staking and shared security. When you end up nested in nested layers, the one truly bearing the risk is still you.

Anyway, my principle right now is simple: if you can do less, do less. Points aren’t worth burning the midnight oil or exposing my wallet. That’s it—time to catch up on sleep.
