Michael Saylor of MicroStrategy recently explained the massive leverage in their strategy:

“If we’ve issued a trillion dollars of credit against a three-trillion dollar equity market cap, then a single 0.25% cut in interest rates generates an obscene amount of profit for equity shareholders in just one month.”
He added with a smile:
“That conversation is still many years away when $BTC Bitcoin is a million-dollar coin and we’re ten years further down the road. We can talk about it then.”
