Why am I so firmly committed to dollar-cost averaging into the NASDAQ,
and unwaveringly hold on to see it break through 100,000 points within 6 years...
Investing in the NASDAQ doesn't require any faith, just understanding some very simple logic.
The cash we hold is not anchored to any value asset.
GDP growth (if actual growth isn't happening, that's a question mark), the central bank will print money.
When this money flows into the market, it causes inflation, and the money in your hands will depreciate, reducing purchasing power.
And buying the NASDAQ is equivalent to transforming the money in your hands into a different form.
It can't be spent directly (when spending, it needs to be exchanged into fiat currency), but it is anchored to the value changes of the world's most advanced and profitable 100 companies.
-----
These companies have grown 180 times over the past 40 years, averaging 13.8% growth per year. Although there have been downturns, most years have seen gains.
The dollar-cost averaging method can mitigate the risk of buying at high points by spreading purchases over different times (though it may also sacrifice some gains).
So, the essence of investing in the NASDAQ is to convert cash that will continually depreciate into "equity" that can grow alongside the world's strongest companies.
You don't need to pick which company will succeed, nor do you need to watch the market every day.
As long as you hold long-term, it will grow together with these enterprises.
------
Looking back, the NASDAQ 100 has grown 180 times over the past 40 years, with an average annual return of over 13%.
No one can guarantee to replicate such numbers in the future, but one thing is certain: compared to simply putting money in the bank, holding the NASDAQ long-term almost certainly preserves and increases value better.
Therefore, dollar-cost averaging into the NASDAQ is not speculation, not gambling, and certainly not blind "faith," but a rational choice aligned with economic development and monetary laws.
For ordinary people like us, this is the simplest, easiest, and most effective investment method.
Brothers, we are surrounded by good news...
Brothers, the long-term bet on fiat currency devaluation and AI narratives has just begun.
And I still hold the view: I believe the NASDAQ Composite Index will break through 100,000 points within the next 6 years.
