Lately I've been looking into re-staking, shared security, and these kinds of things. The layered returns do sound quite tempting, but I always feel like the most easily stacked thing is an illusion: thinking you're buying "more secure security," when in fact it's just an extra chain of prerequisites that all need to be met simultaneously. (Mind: it's stable; Reality: don't rush yet.) Occasionally, on-chain large transfers or movements of exchange hot and cold wallets will trigger someone to shout "smart money is here," and I get itchy too, but in the end, I stick to the old rule: first ask if I can handle the worst-case scenario, then decide whether to water or not. Positions are like potted plants; growing fast doesn't mean the roots are strong, trimming and leaving room for growth is what helps me sleep well.
