Interesting fact: Pakistan's population recently surpassed 254 million people. This makes the country the fifth most populous in the world — can you imagine, more than 3% of all humanity lives there. The data is based on UN estimates via Worldometer.

What’s also striking — this country is getting younger. The average age there is only 20.6 years, indicating a young population. Plus, Pakistan's population is growing quite rapidly, about 1.57% per year. If this pace continues, by mid-2025, it would already be around 255 million.

Such growth rates pose a serious challenge to the country's infrastructure and resources. A young population can be both an advantage and a problem if there aren't enough opportunities for development.
