Just noticed: Satoshi Nakamoto's wealth has decreased by about $20 billion in the past two weeks. The anonymous Bitcoin creator has experienced quite a wild rollercoaster ride during this period after the BTC market underwent a significant correction.

Back in October of last year, Satoshi was still among the top 10 richest people in the world. His portfolio is based on approximately 1.1 million Bitcoin, which have been untouched on the blockchain since 2009. An incredibly passive wealth, if you think about it that way. After the recent market movement, he has now slipped to 15th place worldwide, but still ahead of names like Alice Walton and Michael Bloomberg.

What fascinates me here: it simply shows how brutal the price volatility of digital assets can be. Satoshi Nakamoto holds the same amount of Bitcoin as 17 years ago, but his wealth fluctuates by billions just because the market swings back and forth. This is not just volatility; it’s a live demonstration of how macroeconomic revaluations work in the crypto world.

BTC is currently trading at around $81,240. The market dynamics remain interesting to observe, and moments like these remind us why long-term positions in Bitcoin are the most important for some people.
