Wu reported that MetaPlanet CEO Simon Gerovich tweeted that MetaPlanet's net sales for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026 were 3.08 billion yen (approximately $19.52 million), a year-over-year increase of 251%; operating profit was 2.27 billion yen (approximately $14.39 million), a year-over-year increase of 283%; as of the end of the first quarter, holding 40,177 BTC. MetaPlanet maintains its full-year fiscal year 2026 performance forecast unchanged, expecting net sales of 16 billion yen (approximately $101.4 million) and operating profit of 11.4 billion yen (approximately $72.24 million).
