Are you chasing the next "New Chain Incentive" again? I'm also tempted, but honestly, attention is just the handle of a sickle; when the hot topic shifts, you change your position accordingly, ending up as a long-term sponsor of fees and slippage.

I now force myself to watch three things: whether the fee rate is one-sided, whether open interest is inflated, and whether the order book disperses at a push. When I see TVL being artificially boosted by incentives or old users complaining about "mining, withdrawal, and selling," I assume everyone is just waiting for you to take over, willing to earn less rather than become a liquidity exit. Anyway, my rules are simple: don't add to positions until you're out of the emotional phase; if the hype gets to you, reduce a little to cool down.
