Japanese bond yields rise across the board, with 5-year and 20-year yields hitting record highs

Golden Finance reports that on May 13th, Japan’s 5-year government bond yield rose by 3.0 basis points, reaching a historic high of 1.945%. Japan’s 20-year government bond yield increased by 5 basis points to 3.495%, setting a new record. The 10-year government bond yield temporarily rose to 2.590%, the highest level since May 1997.
