These days I've been looking at IBC, message passing, and various bridges again.

To put it simply, crossing one chain isn't about "transferring funds," you're trusting a chain of things:
The source chain won't rollback, the light client/validators won't cause trouble, the relayer in the middle won't go offline, the target chain won't misrecord, and finally, the contract won't explode...
I once tried a new bridge for convenience, with a flashy interface.
The more I looked, the less I understood who I was actually trusting.
My hand trembled and I stopped.
The next day, I saw another bridge had issues, and I instantly felt a chill down my spine.
Now, during airdrop season, everyone acts like clocking in at work, with task platforms fighting off witches and points systems getting more intense.
But I still say: if you don't understand it, don't move first.
Missing out is okay, at least you won't also miss the chance to cut losses.
