Every time I read Elon Musk's numbers, I can't help but ask myself: how much does he actually earn in 60 seconds? Because at that point, you truly understand the scale of some people's wealth.

Let's start with the numbers. In 2024, his fortune reached $429 billion, and from there we can do the math. If we divide it by the seconds in a year, we get about $3,700 per second. Yes, you read that right. In one minute, he's already earning $222,500. That is, while you're reading this sentence, Musk has already earned what many people make in a year.

But the real numbers become absurd when we move to larger scales. Per hour, we're talking about $13.35 million. Per day, over $320 million. In a week, it's $2.24 billion. It's like the budget of a Hollywood blockbuster every seven days.

The interesting thing is understanding where this growth comes from. Tesla is the main engine, with stocks performing well. Then there's SpaceX, the artificial intelligence sector with xAI, the space projects. All together, this creates a compound effect that makes it seem like the money is multiplying on its own.

If you want to visualize how much Elon Musk earns in 60 seconds in relative terms: it's more than what many earn in a month of work. In a week, he accumulates what others would need to save for decades. It's a completely different dimension.

Of course, these are numbers based on market valuations and fluctuate constantly, but they give an idea of how enormous the gap is. And when you hear someone say they 'earn millions,' you realize that in Musk's case, we're talking about a completely different order of magnitude.
