Recently, I came across a few principles that are really worth keeping in mind. These are universal laws that I think everyone should know because they can significantly change how we approach problems and decisions.

I’ll start with Murphy’s Law — if something can go wrong, it will go wrong. It sounds pessimistic, but it’s more about the fact that the more you fear something, the greater the chance it will happen. It’s about mindset, you know?

Next is Kidlina’s Law, which I find super practical. If you write down the problem, describing it clearly and in detail, you’ve already solved half of the problem. Seriously, just formulating the issue is half the way to solving it.

But the most interesting to me is Gilbert’s Law. Gilbert’s Law states that when you take on something, you should always look for the best ways to achieve your goal. It’s not about doing things carelessly — it’s about finding the optimal solution. Gilbert’s Law teaches us that every task deserves a thoughtful strategy, not improvisation. If you want to achieve a specific result, you need to approach it intelligently.

Wilson, on the other hand, tells us that if knowledge and intelligence are the priorities, money will come on its own. Quite motivating, isn’t it?

And finally, the Falkland Law — if you don’t have to decide something, just don’t decide. Sometimes the best decision is no decision at all. You save yourself stress and keep your options open.

I’m convinced these principles can change a lot in our daily thinking. It’s worth keeping them somewhere in the back of your mind.
