Warren Buffett took control of Berkshire Hathaway 61 years ago, creating one of the greatest long-term investment stories in history.

Investor Shay Bulor pointed out that a $10,000 investment in Berkshire Hathaway shares in May 1965, when the stock price was around $15, and with Class A shares reaching $721,000, would be worth about $480 million today.
