Mars Finance news: On May 13, following a vote on the 12th with 51 in favor and 45 against, the U.S. Senate officially confirmed Kevin Wosh as a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, for a 14-year term. Wosh succeeds Milan, whose term has ended. The Senate has launched the process to confirm Wosh’s appointment to also serve as Federal Reserve Chair for a four-year term, and held a “cloture vote,” which has kicked off the countdown—approval could come as early as Wednesday local time. The current Chair Powell’s term will end on Friday.
