Golden Finance reports that on May 13, Iraq and Pakistan respectively signed agreements with Iran to transport oil and liquefied natural gas from the Gulf region. According to the agreements, Iraq secured the safe passage of two ultra-large crude oil carriers, which passed through the Strait of Hormuz on May 10, each carrying about 2 million barrels of crude oil. Additionally, under another bilateral agreement between Pakistan and Iran, two oil tankers loaded with Qatar liquefied natural gas are heading to Pakistan. Sources say that neither Iraq nor Pakistan paid any fees directly to Iran or its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps for transit matters. (CCTV News)
