In the first quarter of this year, under the dual drivers of strengthened and expanded policies for old-for-new consumer goods and the deep integration of AI technology with consumer products, China’s smart consumer device manufacturing showed a positive development trend, with impressive production growth, becoming an important support for industrial economic growth. Data shows that in the first quarter, China’s smartphone production reached 298 million units, a year-on-year increase of 6.9%, and the output of service robots exceeded 4.4 million units, a year-on-year increase of 2.6%. The sales of complete machines also drove the growth of upstream electronic component production. As a core supporting component, integrated circuits had a production volume of 127.2 billion units, a year-on-year increase of 24.3%, providing a solid foundation for the production of smart consumer products.
