Just looking back at bitcoin's August prices over the years and the pattern is wild. Started at $148 back in 2013, then we saw some crazy moves - bounced between $287 and $626 in the mid-2010s. But once we hit 2017, things took off. August that year was sitting at $4,764, and by 2021 we were looking at $50k+ territory. That's insane growth if you think about it.

The interesting part is how volatile it gets. 2022 dipped to $25k in August, but we bounced back to $30k the next year. This year we're already at $65k+ which is pretty solid. Right now we're even higher at around $80k. Looking at this 10+ year trend, the overall direction is clearly up despite all the noise.

Makes you wonder if we're really heading into another major bull cycle or if this is just the usual summer volatility. The chart definitely suggests something could be brewing though.
