The Way is the profoundest of all things.
The treasure of good people, the protection of the not-so-good.
Kind words can buy respect, good deeds can add to a person.
If a person is not virtuous, what is there to abandon?
Therefore, establish the emperor, appoint the three dukes,
Even if there are jade disks to precede the chariots, sitting in this Way is better.
Why was the ancient so highly valuing this Way?
Is it not because: seeking to gain, avoiding guilt?
Therefore, it is treasured by the world.

In the previous chapter, we discussed that the great should serve the low, and the true top traders must humble themselves, stay gentle and quiet, not compete with the market’s strength, to gather wealth and endure forever without defeat.

Chapter 62, Laozi once again talks about the importance of the “Way,” telling us that regardless of prosperity or adversity, profit or loss, holding onto the Way means possessing everything. “The Way” is more precious than anything, offering everything without exchange.

1. The Way is the profoundest of all things
   The Way is the deepest, most mysterious, and core shelter and refuge of all things.

What is the Way? It is the underlying rule hidden deepest in the market, most effective.

No matter how wildly the market surges or crashes, how hot spots rotate, or how the main forces play their tricks, this thing remains unchanged forever.

We have seen too many people, relying on luck to catch a few limit-ups, thinking they have mastered the secret of wealth, only to lose everything in a wave of correction. We have also seen many who have adhered to a simple system for years, following signals without greed or impatience, and finally earning abundant profits. What’s the difference? It’s whether they have held onto this Way.

All profits in the market are hidden within the Way; all methods of survival are within the Way. Without the Way, no matter how much money you make, it’s just passing money, gone with the wind.

All profit is hidden in the Way, all survival depends on the Way, all answers originate from the Way. The painstaking effort we make to explore and follow is always the market’s grand road, the market’s law.

2. The treasure of good people, the protection of the not-so-good
   For those who keep to the Way, understand the Way, and act according to the Way, the Way is the most precious treasure; for those who do not understand the Way or occasionally stray from it, the Way still protects them, not easily abandoning them.

The Way is a very fair thing, never偏心 to anyone.

In investment terms, good people are disciplined, control risks, and stay humble; the Way grants them stable profits and compound growth.
Not-so-good people are occasionally greedy, impulsive; the Way still gives them chances to correct mistakes and rebirth.

No one is born knowing how to invest; everyone has made mistakes, each person is like that. The difference is, some admit their mistakes and learn from them, while others stubbornly refuse to see the truth, until they blow up their accounts.

Many who have lost money before did so because they made various mistakes, understanding the cruelty and complexity of the market, so they painfully re-evaluated, rebuilt their systems, and strictly followed the rules, gradually walking the right investment path, achieving steady and lasting profits.

The Way never abandons anyone; it only looks at whether people are willing to return. As long as people let go of attachments, return to the rules, it will immediately protect you.

3. Kind words can buy respect, good deeds can add to a person
   Pleasant words can earn respect, noble actions can be revered.

The “beautiful words” and “good deeds” here are not just opposite words, but refer to true goodness.
Beautiful words are not flowery talk, but awareness of the Way, clear judgment, contentment; good deeds are not showy operations, but acting in harmony with the trend, timely stop-loss, waiting in cash, not greedy or impatient.

What truly earns respect is not how much money you make, but your character in accordance with the Way; what truly allows you to stand firm in the market is not skills, but actions in守道.

Words and actions in harmony with the Way earn respect from others, and the market naturally follows.

4. If a person is not virtuous, what is there to abandon?
   Even if a person has faults, is not virtuous, or acts recklessly, how can the Way abandon him?

This is the compassion of the market—no matter if you once went against the trend, held heavy positions, suffered big losses, or爆仓, or if you were once greedy, fearful, out of control, or迷茫, as long as you are willing to repent,守道, and return, the Way will always accept and save you.

The market never abandons those who admit their mistakes and seek to correct them; it only abandons those who are stubborn and refuse to see the truth.
There are no accounts beyond救, only hearts that refuse to change.

5. Therefore, establishing the emperor, appointing the three dukes, even if there are jade disks to precede the chariots, sitting in this Way is better
   Laozi said, even if you are the emperor, holding the highest power, even if you hold the jade disk and drive a four-horse chariot, it is better than sitting quietly to cultivate and understand the大道.

In investing, the jade disks and four-horse chariots represent momentary暴利, short-term doubling,虚荣的盈利, lucky success; sitting in this Way means having a stable system, a clear mind,行为 in harmony with the Way, and long-term survival.

Momentary暴利 is nothing; being able to survive long-term is true skill. Wealth and荣华 are fleeting;守道 enduring is fundamental.

6. Why did the ancients value this Way so much? Isn’t it because: seeking to gain, avoiding guilt?
   Why did people in ancient times regard the Way as extremely precious? Simply because of two very practical benefits: seeking to gain, avoiding guilt.

In the market, if you守道, follow the trend, and be content, stable profits will naturally come; if you make mistakes, lose, or act recklessly, returning to the Way can avoid disasters and prevent灭亡, giving a chance to recover.

7. Therefore, it is the most尊贵 in the world
   Thus, the Way is the most尊贵, priceless, and irreplaceable thing in the world.

Skills have value, information has value, but only规律, sincerity, reverence, and无为 are priceless treasures.

Gaining the Way means gaining everything in the market; losing the Way means losing all保障.

Chapter 62, Laozi tells us that the Way is the profoundest of all, the treasure of good people, the protection of the not-so-good, that a thousand gold pieces are not as good as守道, and all laws are nothing compared to returning to the heart.
