One underrated part of @quipnetwork imo is how much attention they put on working around the protocol bottleneck instead of waiting for it 👀

Because if crypto history has shown anything, it’s that major consensus upgrades move very slowly.
Especially around Bitcoin.
Too many participants.
Too many incentives.
Too much coordination required.
Even obvious improvements can take years before the ecosystem fully aligns.
That’s why the whole “no protocol change” direction feels strategically important.
Instead of depending on massive base-layer upgrades first, Quip seems focused on building protection and infrastructure that can operate alongside existing systems.
Less disruption.
Less governance friction.
Faster deployment path.
And honestly, that probably matters more during transition periods than people realize.
Because the biggest challenge is often not the technology itself
it’s getting everyone to agree at the same time.
Feels like Quip understands that the smoother path is building around slow coordination rather than waiting for it to suddenly speed up 👀
