Recently, I've noticed that GameFi is making a comeback, not just hype, but because there are truly notable projects developing. The combination of gaming and cryptocurrency creates something different from previous hype phases.

GameFi basically refers to games built on blockchain, allowing players to earn tokens or NFTs through gameplay. The attractive point is that you truly own assets in the game, not just data on the company's server. Blockchain ensures transparency and fairness, and each item can be traded.

Looking at the current potential projects, Axie Infinity remains the first name that everyone thinks of. The AXS token is currently at $1.34, down 6.26% in 24 hours. This project continues to develop with new features. The Sandbox focuses on the metaverse with unique voxel graphics, with SAND at $0.08. Decentraland is another option in the metaverse space, with MANA currently priced at $0.10.

Besides the familiar names, there are a few other projects worth following. Gala Games focuses on player ownership with a variety of games, GALA down 4.95% to a very low level. Illuvium is an open-world RPG with AAA graphics, ILV at $5.03. Star Atlas promises space exploration experiences with Unreal Engine 5, with ATLAS and POLIS as two tokens of this project.

There’s also Alien Worlds, which allows resource mining and planetary governance, TLM down 3.53%. My Neighbor Alice offers a relaxing farming experience, ALICE at $0.15. GuildFi is a platform connecting gamers with guilds, GF currently at $0.00. STEPN is another trend, a Move-to-Earn model combining fitness with earning money, GMT slightly up 0.74% to $0.01.

But everything requires caution. Before investing in any GameFi token, thoroughly research the project, team, technology, and earning mechanisms. It’s best to try playing the game first to understand better. Don’t "all in" on a single project; diversifying your funds across multiple projects is safer.

The GameFi market changes quickly, so it’s necessary to follow official channels and community updates. It’s a market full of opportunities but also risks, so anyone deciding to participate should manage risks carefully.
