Have you ever thought about who owns the oldest BTC in the world? I researched historical wallets and found it pretty interesting. Satoshi Nakamoto's wallet is practically a living treasure — it has about 1.1 million BTC that he mined in the early days, valued at over 100 billion dollars. But here’s the curious part: since 2011, no one has touched these funds. Zero transactions.
There’s also the Genesis Block, which was the first block mined in January 2009. That address has 50 BTC and has been inactive ever since. And then there’s Hal Finney, one of the first people to believe in Bitcoin — he received the first transaction from Satoshi. He accumulated around 9,000 BTC, but after 2014, he moved them to other wallets.
What I find most crazy is that Satoshi Nakamoto’s wallet remains untouched to this day. Like, just imagine if one day it moved? The market would go crazy. For now, the price is at 80.7K with a 1.64% drop in the last 24 hours, but these historic holdings continue to be Bitcoin’s biggest mystery.
