The UK will deploy fighter jets and warships to escort multi-national operations in the Strait of Hormuz.
The UK Ministry of Defense stated that the UK will provide drone, fighter jet, and naval support to the multinational escort operation conducting missions in the Strait of Hormuz, further strengthening security deployments in the Gulf region.
The UK Ministry of Defense announced that the resources will include autonomous mine-clearing equipment, the Typhoon fighter jet, and the HMS Dragon destroyer.
As part of existing defense operations, the UK has deployed over 1,000 personnel in the Gulf region, including counter-drone teams and rapid jet squadron.
