Lately, I’ve been genuinely feeling a bit anxious about this tax stuff... Usually, doing LP slowly and collecting fees is fine, but at the end of the year when reconciling accounts, I get overwhelmed. My simple method is: every time I cross chains, deposit or withdraw, or swap coins, I conveniently record a note, take a screenshot + export a CSV and put them in the same folder, with a comment in plain language, like “transferred from A to B for LP purposes,” otherwise in two months you simply won’t remember what that transaction was for. Large on-chain transfers and fluctuations in exchange hot and cold wallets are often seen as “smart money,” but for me, it’s more like... or rather...: it’s like bank statements and kitchen prep lists. The key is leaving a trace, so in the end, you’re not just guessing. Anyway, I’d rather spend an extra two minutes now than spend late nights at the end of the year flipping through browser history and questioning my life.
