I just realized that understanding the trading timeframes is extremely important if you want to make money from forex. Especially the European session, what time is it in Vietnam, because that's when the market starts to become lively.
In fact, the European (London) session is quite important. In summer, it starts at 14:00 and ends at 23:00 Vietnam time. In winter, what time is the European session? It shifts to 15:00 to 00:00. At this time, the market has already started to become lively, but it's not yet the most volatile period.
The best time is from 19:00 to 23:00 Vietnam time, when the US (New York) session just opens. In summer, the US starts at 19:00 and ends at 04:00 the next morning; in winter, it’s from 20:00 to 05:00. This is when the market heats up, liquidity is high, economic news is released like rain, and prices fluctuate strongly. Trading during this time offers great opportunities but also carries significant risks.
Additionally, the early European session (14:00-15:00 VN) is also noteworthy. When the European session just opens, many traders start to act, European economic reports are published, and prices can jump. Similarly, when the US session just begins (19:00-20:00 VN), US economic data are often released, directly affecting USD and related currency pairs.
In summary, if you want to trade effectively, you need to know what time the European session is, what time the US session is, and which periods have the biggest volatility. Only then can you manage risks well and seize major opportunities when the market is active.
