"Only those who dare to earn can win"
Brothers, hello everyone, I am trader Zhu Yidan. Compared to holding positions, making money actually makes it easier to lose control of the trades, and I am currently facing such a dilemma.
I don't know how many people are like this: after losing, they can hold on until the last drop of blood and get liquidated; after making money, a slight fluctuation and fear of profit retracement lead to hurriedly closing the position, only to watch the coin price soar later and regret it.
This kind of trading pattern, if continued long-term, will inevitably lead to small profits and big losses. Ten small profitable trades combined can't cover one big loss. Everyone understands this principle, but truly changing and doing it is too difficult. Only through personal experience can one truly understand the various aspects of trading. Those with good intuition naturally get closer to the optimal solution.
Back to the trade I currently hold, I've been holding it for nearly 4-5 months. The principal is about $250k, with a peak loss of $170k. Fortunately, I didn't leverage this time, or I wouldn't have survived. Currently, I have a profit of over $30k. The coin price is wildly hovering above my cost line. What am I playing at? I keep hypnotizing myself: I want to make a big profit. My heavy position isn't for breaking even but for big gains. Only then can I hold on.
In the next 1-2 months, I expect to see the results. Once this position is closed, I should take a good rest. Trading is really exhausting. Many big funds in the crypto circle have moved to the US stock market. The US stock market seems to be in an eternal bull market. I instinctively feel afraid of this kind of mindless rise, worried about entering at the last moment and catching the final wave. Of course, if the US stock market crashes, the crypto circle will suffer even worse. So I still hope the US stock market can stay stable for a while longer.
Lately, I haven't been updating much. Around early May, I was traveling everywhere—Hong Kong, Chengdu, Hangzhou. These days, I stayed at home, preparing to enrich myself and reflect on my trading shortcomings, especially in technical analysis and data analysis. I signed up for a boxing class, which I just started a couple of days ago. Now I am sore all over. This is something I’ve always wanted to do. I don’t know why I delayed until now to take action. I have the time and money, and the experience has been good. I will stick to it!
Currently, the Bitcoin market looks like it’s consolidating and oscillating, with some opportunities in smaller altcoins. These altcoin opportunities are quite hard to catch. Over the past month, many people have actually made money. I suggest taking some profits and securing your position. Surviving in this market is more important than anything else. Finally, I wish everyone to make a big profit!
