Just now I got that itch again and wanted to chase a pump candle that’s green with a hint of red. I’d nearly clicked the mouse, then suddenly stopped and asked myself: Did I actually get new information, or am I just being tugged along by the emotion of the candlesticks, putting on extra drama? To be blunt, most of the time it’s the latter—especially when the pool is thin and slippage is big. Chasing in feels like writing poetry right on the edge of liquidity; the words don’t even land before they’re swept away.

It reminds me of the recent “collapse recap” from on-chain games: the spiral of inflation + studios + coin prices. When things are lively, everyone talks about “ecosystem.” When things cool down, even leaving requires lining up. Anyway, my self-rescue right now is: if there’s real information, slowly unwind your position; if there isn’t, treat impulsiveness as noise, go check the pool depth, take a sip of water… for now, that’s it.
