Xiaomi plans to launch flagship new products in the second half of the year, including self-developed chip operating systems and AI large models
Mainland Chinese media quoted bloggers reporting that Xiaomi (01810) is expected to launch a flagship new product in the second half of this year, which will simultaneously debut with its self-developed chip, self-developed operating system, and self-developed AI large model.
It is understood that this new product is not just a laboratory concept for display purposes, but a fully production-ready commercial device, which will be publicly available for ordinary consumers in the future.
Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing had previously revealed some details about this new product. He stated that Xiaomi’s self-developed chip, operating system, and AI large model will achieve a major convergence this year, meaning all three capabilities will be deeply integrated into the same device.
The industry generally believes that Xiaomi is building its own complete full-chain technology stack. Currently, the Xuanjie chip has been officially released, the Pengpai OS is continuously iterating across all device categories, and the large model capabilities have been gradually deployed into massive devices over the past two years. Once these three are deeply integrated, it signifies that Xiaomi will no longer be just an application layer integrator, but will have greater autonomous control over the underlying technology of the entire ecosystem.
