Techub News reports, according to CryptoBriefing, Coinbase admits that users may experience delays when sending and receiving MON tokens and Monad’s native stablecoin MONUSDC.
The delay stems from Monad’s recent completion of an oversubscribed token sale and the launch of its mainnet, leading to a surge in transaction demand and putting pressure on Coinbase’s new token sale infrastructure.
Monad raised $269 million in its public offering, attracting 85,820 participants, marking the first large-scale test of the token sale platform built after Coinbase acquired Echo and Sonar.
The mainnet went live on November 24, 2025, with 49.4% of the total supply unlocked at token generation.
