Recently, seeing people complain about the “nested” and shared security setups being called a “Russian doll” scheme made me think of something else: no matter how much the returns stack up, it can’t stop one mis-click in a signature from wiping everything clean… I haven’t been screenshotting or cloud-saving my mnemonic phrases for a long time; I handwrite two separate copies and keep them apart—annoying, but it helps me sleep soundly. The bigger red line, though, is signature authorization: once I see “unlimited quota” or “blind signing,” I basically close the page right away—I’d rather earn less. And now I’m still willing to take one extra step: before every interaction, I check the domain twice, and revoke the authorization as soon as it’s used up. It’s really tedious, but it’s still cheaper than getting taught by a phishing site.
