There's a phenomenon I've always found very interesting. When your father is a legendary figure like Manny Stul, you carry expectations into any room you enter. Manny Stul founded Moose Toys, won the Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur Award, and is a symbol in Australia's startup scene. This halo is a blessing for many, but for his son Jon Stul, it might feel more like an invisible pressure.

I saw Jon Stul walk into Shark Tank, and you could feel his determination. He's not there to borrow his father's fame—that's not his style. He's bringing his own ideas, his own products, his own ambitions. That's the key. Many people have the opportunity to inherit a legacy, but far fewer can build their own career.

It made me think that true success isn't just about standing on the shoulders of giants. Manny Stul's story is inspiring, but that's his story. Jon needs to write his own story. You can inherit wealth, connections, even a name, but you can't change one fact: in the end, you still have to walk through that door on your own, and then walk past it.

A legacy is just the key to open the door. The real building work still has to be done by yourself. That's why I think people like Jon Stul, who dare to start their own businesses independently, are worth paying attention to. The same logic applies in crypto and entrepreneurship.
