Just checked out Bitcoin's year-end closing prices over the past 15 years and it's wild to see how far we've come. Started at just 30 cents back in 2010, then jumped to $4.74 the next year. The early days were basically nothing compared to what we see now. Fast forward to 2017 and we hit $14K for the first time on New Year's Eve - that was the first major bull run everyone remembers. Then 2018 crashed hard to $3.7K, but by 2020 we were already at $29K closing out the year. 2021 peaked at $46K on December 31st, which felt insane at the time. Last year's $87.9K close on New Year's Eve shows how much Bitcoin has matured as an asset. The price movements tell the whole story of how this market evolved from a niche experiment to something institutional investors actually care about. Pretty interesting to see the progression when you line them all up like this.
