I have just summarized the important trading hours during the day that you need to monitor, especially if you often trade on currency pairs or assets related to USD.

The most important thing is to know what time the US session starts according to Vietnam time. In summer, the US session opens at 19:00 in the evening and closes at 4:00 in the morning. In winter, it starts a bit later, from 20:00 in the evening and ends at 5:00 in the morning. The European (London) session, in summer, is from 14:00 to 23:00, and in winter, from 15:00 to 00:00 Vietnam time.

But the best time to trade is from 19:00 to 23:00 in the evening — this is the crossover between the European and US sessions. The market is most active during this time, with high liquidity, and economic news floods in. I usually pay the most attention to this window because it offers great opportunities, but the risks are also significant.

Additionally, at the start of the European session (around 14:00-15:00), there are often fluctuations as markets begin to heat up. And when the US session just opens (19:00-20:00), US economic reports are usually released, directly impacting USD currency pairs.

In summary, if you want to take advantage of volatility or manage risk well, remember these time frames. Knowing what time the US session is also important so you can plan your trading schedule accordingly, especially if you are in Vietnam and prefer to trade in the evening.
