Wow! As soon as the new Marriage Law was released, parents all panicked.

Let me tell you about these new regulations.

First, when paying off the mortgage and car loan together after marriage, the house and car are not split equally between the two parties during divorce; they are divided based on the actual contribution.

Then, if parents buy a house before marriage and register it in their child's name, the other party cannot claim a share during divorce.

Also, valuable items purchased after marriage, like designer watches, jewelry, and the like, can be reclaimed after divorce if the paying party has proof of purchase.

Additionally, if the groom gives bride a bride price, and the bride uses it to decorate a new house or buy a car, and the couple has lived together before divorce, whether to return the bride price and how much to return depends on the specific situation; it’s not fully refundable.

I'm just curious—do you think these new marriage law provisions better protect the spouses' property? Come share your thoughts in the comments!
