Recently, I've been browsing various PFPs and membership cards, all talking up a storm. Honestly, the long-term value isn't about how good the avatar looks, but whether you can continue to be "used": offline events, product discounts, communities where people actually get things done... Otherwise, once the hype passes, all that's left is a picture, which is pretty awkward.

And then there's the trend of testing networks running points; everyone is guessing whether the mainnet will issue tokens. I get the itch too, but the more it happens, the more it seems like a attention contest. Anyway, I prefer to wait for the tide to recede and look at the data: whether long-term holders are still around, if there's someone willing to buy the floor, whether whales are quietly flipping hands. Stay steady, pick up shells slowly, don’t get caught up in the hype, understand?
