Asian stocks are expected to rise on Tuesday, following the upward momentum of Wall Street after the S&P 500 closed up 0.2% and the Nasdaq 100 increased 0.3% in New York. Oil surged 3.4% to over $104 per barrel after President Donald Trump called Iran's response to the ceasefire proposal "completely unacceptable," and stated that the ceasefire with the Islamic Republic is being maintained with a "life support machine." Futures for equity indices for Australia, Japan, and South Korea are all pointing towards gains at opening.
