Recently, I was taught another lesson by my own "loss aversion": unrealized losses hanging there are like phone notifications that stay on all the time—obviously not realized, but my mind keeps tallying them; unrealized gains are easier to ignore, defaulting in my mind to "that doesn't count as mine." Honestly, when I’m at a loss, I keep thinking "what if I had...," but when I’m making a profit, I just think "don’t get cocky yet." The difference in sleep quality is quite obvious.

When the market gets noisy, I go check on the blockchain to see if there’s real usage at the settlement layer, otherwise, I might impulsively click around when my emotions take over. The previous cycle of inflation + studio + coin price spiral in blockchain games also reminded me: what looks like lively growth might just be anxiety paid in installments.

What I fear missing the most isn’t actually the opportunity, but those few minutes when I can calm down.
