May 7 — China News Service: On May 7, the National Bureau of Statistics website disclosed the changes in market prices of major important means of production in the circulation field in late April 2026. The data show that the price of live pigs (external three yuan) for this period was 9.8 yuan per kilogram, up 8.9% month-on-month.

According to monitoring of market prices for 50 important means of production across 9 major categories in the national circulation field, compared with mid-April 2026, in late April 2026 there were 21 products with price increases, 25 with price decreases, and 4 with prices unchanged.

Specifically, in terms of agricultural products, the price of live pigs (external three yuan) for this period was 9.8 yuan per kilogram, up 8.9% month-on-month. Soybean meal (crude protein content ≥43%) for this period was 2,957.2 yuan per ton, down 0.7% month-on-month. Soybeans (yellow soybeans) for this period were 4,446.8 yuan per ton, down 0.3% month-on-month. Peanuts (oilseed peanuts) for this period were 7,481.0 yuan per ton, down 0.2% month-on-month.

Most chemical product prices moved downward. Glacial acetic acid (99.5% and above) for this period was 3,374.5 yuan per ton, down 21.8% month-on-month; caustic soda (liquid caustic alkali, 32%) for this period was 702.9 yuan per ton, down 8.2%; butadiene rubber (BR9000) for this period was 15,990.5 yuan per ton, down 3.4%; sulfuric acid (98%) for this period was 1,820.6 yuan per ton, down 2.7%. Lithium iron phosphate (ordinary power type) for this period was 58,603.0 yuan per ton, up 2.8% month-on-month—the only chemical product with a price increase. (China News Service APP)
