Last night before bed, I came across a bunch of new narratives about "sharding/parallelization," and I feel like we're back in that season where everyone is shouting "performance takes off"... It's quite lively, but honestly, there are two things I care more about now: where to put assets to minimize the risk of problems, and whether the network is actually accessible when you need to run. No matter how fast the chain is, if the bridge glitches or you sign the wrong wallet, speed will only make you hit the pitfall faster.
By the way, the NFT royalty debate has flared up again, with creators wanting income and secondary markets needing liquidity. After all the arguing, it still boils down to "can you sell smoothly and cash out easily." Anyway, before I launch a new narrative, I always think about exit strategies: how to return on mainnet/Layer 2/bridges, where the liquidity is, and not to trap myself on an isolated island that looks very advanced. That's how I see it for now.
