The programmes included the Project Management Development Programme (PMDP), designed to qualify newly graduated Qatari engineers and enhance their professional capabilities; the Graduate Development Programme (GDP), aimed at non-engineering graduates to enable them to perform their duties efficiently; and the Administrative Development Programme (ADP), designed to develop employees holding secondary school diplomas and associate degrees in administrative support roles.
On this occasion, Manager of Human Resources Department at Ashghal Rashid Saeed Al Hajri affirmed the Authority’s commitment to providing a continuous and sustainable learning environment that supports lifelong professional development through specialised training programmes and initiatives that meet employees’ needs and enhance their readiness for the labour market.
He noted that these programmes contribute to building clear career pathways and strengthening human capital development in line with job requirements, in addition to supporting the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
For his part, Head of the Training and Administrative Development Department at Ashghal Ghanem Abdullah Al Kaabi said the Authority’s training programmes are designed according to modern methodologies that take into account job requirements and ongoing developments, with a focus on building practical skills and professional experience to ensure employees are well-prepared to perform their roles with efficiency and quality.
Al Kaabi added that Ashghal is committed to periodically updating training content in line with best practices, in order to maximise employee benefit and enhance competencies across various specialisations.
