Bank of America Sees Fed Rate Cuts Delayed Until Second Half of 2027

Bank of America Global Research now expects the Federal Reserve to delay interest rate cuts until the second half of 2027. The bank had previously expected one cut in September and one in October this year. Bank of America economists said relatively high inflation, robust job growth, and shocks including the Iran war, tariffs, and artificial intelligence have made rate forecasts harder.
