The word "modularization" has been heard so often that everyone is talking about "faster, cheaper, more scalable"... but for end users, it boils down to two things: whether there are fewer lags and less fees, and not making me doubt my life every time I switch networks or cross chains. After separating execution, data, and consensus, the experience might indeed be smoother, but it also seems to hide complexity in the background: bridges, orderers, data availability—when something goes wrong in any link, the user still bears the cost. Recently, there's been talk about interest rate cut expectations, the US dollar index moving in sync with risk assets—I think when hot money flows in, everyone will once again rally behind the slogan "modular = takeoff." Anyway, I see simplicity as a trap: the more straightforward a narrative is, the more I want to check on the chain to see how it actually runs.
