lol so apparently there's a $656K prize pool for the best crypto game pitch right now. sounds wild but honestly... i'm not even hyped anymore after watching like over web3 games failed five years ago. the whole space promised so much and just kept delivering the same play-to-earn garbage that nobody actually wanted to play.

VCs are finally admitting last cycle's games were trash - and yeah, they were. boring tokenomics, terrible gameplay, just vibes and hype. now they're looking for something actually good i guess? but does anyone even care about Web3 gaming anymore or is this just cope from people who got burned.

maybe this competition will actually produce something worth playing. or maybe it's just another way to pump projects lol. what do you think - is there any real future in crypto games or is it dead?
