Solana's Alpenglow Upgrade Enters Validator Testing Ahead of Mainnet

Solana’s Alpenglow consensus upgrade entered community validator testing on Monday after validators approved the change by 98% last September. Anza said the new phase lets external operators test the upgrade before testnet activation and a possible mainnet rollout in late Q3 or early Q4 if everything goes well.
