Ken Griffin Says Hormuz Closure Could Trigger Global Recession in 6–12 Months

Ken Griffin said a continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which carries about 20% of global oil shipments, could push the world into recession if it lasts another six, nine, 12 months. Griffin said a global downturn could still hurt US growth and push the country into recession, even though the US is a net oil exporter.
