I checked the PANews ranking for April, and this month, the fusion of AI and crypto is seriously hot. In addition to Bitcoin testing $80k, DeFi is reportedly seeing more than $600 million in losses due to vulnerabilities—pretty alarming. Kelp DAO and Drift Protocol seem to be the biggest victims.

In the top-ranked articles, the analysis of the power struggle between Musk and Altman is in first place. The announcement of OpenAI’s GPT-Image-2 is also drawing attention, with discussion about whether it could eliminate designers’ jobs, and it’s also interesting to see AI payments becoming more mainstream. It seems systems like Nevermined are implementing usage-based pricing models.

Personally, what caught my attention was that imToken published an article about the threat of quantum computing. It feels like a cryptocurrency user guide for the post-quantum era, and it’s quite practical. The first license for Hong Kong’s stablecoin ecosystem also seems to hinge on ecosystem building, so this month could be a turning point for the industry. There are a lot of articles worth reading, like a 10-year evolution analysis of perpetual contracts and discussions about turning AI agents into products.
