Trump Meets Security Team as U.S. Weighs Possible Military Action Against Iran

Three U.S. officials said Trump met with his national security team on Monday to discuss next steps on Iran, including an option to strike 25% of targets the U.S. military has identified but not yet hit. Officials said the meeting followed an impasse in negotiations with Iran on Sunday. Officials said Trump still hopes to reach an agreement to end the war, but Iran rejected many of his demands and refused meaningful concessions on its nuclear program.
